iOS Engineer II (Onboarding)
At WHOOP, we're on a mission to unlock human performance. WHOOP empowers users (Olympians, Professional Athletes, Fitness Enthusiasts, etc) to perform at a higher level through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives. We are looking to add highly motivated and skilled engineers to our team to help us scale and take our proven system to new heights.
“You never get a second chance to make a good first impression”
As an iOS engineer on the Onboarding team, you will work with product managers, designers, and a strong team of other mobile and backend engineers to deliver a striking first impression of the WHOOP product. The first time a new WHOOP member puts on their strap and launches the mobile app, they should be treated to an experience that exceeds their already high expectations for what our product is capable of. The stakes are high - if we don’t get it exactly right, new members can go from excitement to frustration in a matter of moments.
This will require rapidly iterating on new ideas, experimenting with various ways of solving the same problem, and constructing high quality user experiences, utilizing highly-available and performant backend APIs and systems. Our iOS app is written entirely using native app technology and incorporates the latest Apple technologies, so you’ll have an opportunity to flex your native development skills while having a huge impact on our members’ experience.
