Overview

Indico is a machine learning company working to democratize deep learning, making it accessible to non-technical users. We are searching for an experienced DevOps Engineer to make our current Kubernetes-based deployments even better. 

About the Position

This particular position requires an equal amount of Dev and Ops. You'll be responsible for developing the tools we use to manage our platform installation across all 3 major cloud platforms, and also support on-premise installations. As a Infrastructure engineer you'll have responsibility for maintaining the infrastructure we use for development, testing and release deployment, plus monitoring. You'll get to interact with our customers to help with installation and support. Our DevOps tools are developed in a mix of Bash and Python. Our platform uses services such as Kubernetes, Docker, Rabbitmq, Postgresql, and various cloud specific services. You’ll get to dive deep into all of them.

You are detail oriented and can be counted on to deliver high quality results on time and without drama. When things break (and we all know they will at some inconvenient time) you’ll dig in with the rest of us to get a fix in place quickly.

Responsibilities

• Continue to improve our tools to deploy and monitor our product across all three major cloud platform providers.
• Continue to improve on our CI/CD pipeline by further automating platform spin-up and test on all cloud platforms plus on-prem.
• Help to get our customers’ DevOps teams up to speed when needed.

Requirements

• 4+ years working in DevOps roles with Linux systems.
• Familiarity in deploying large scale, containerized, cloud-native applications on a major cloud platform.
• Experience with Python, Linux, Docker, Git, Github, Kubernetes
• Expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools, preferably Jenkins
