As a Software Engineer at Ellevation, you play a key role in building dynamic web applications and services, implementing complex data and API integrations, and driving the concept-to-implementation development process. You help shape our engineering practices and standards through direct coding activities. Your ideas translate our product and business strategy into technical solutions. You research and evaluate new technologies and figure out how, when, and where they will apply to our engineering roadmap.

We are embarking on an effort to overhaul key portions of our tech stack -- front end, back end, cloud infrastructure and all of the connecting parts -- to better position us to build new products and enter new markets. We are looking for great, team-first engineers with real-world experience. About You:

• You have 5+ years of experience, including engineering high-performance, enterprise-facing websites and/or SaaS platforms.
• You have demonstrated success working in and promoting a rapidly changing, collaborative, and iterative product development environment.
• You have deep experience in at least one modern language, e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript + related frameworks
• You have the versatility to learn new technologies and contribute across different parts of the tech stack.
• You’re naturally curious and a great team player. You have strong interpersonal skills and can work with teammates of varying levels of experience.
• Your commitment to continuous improvement and the mission is second to none, as is your desire to focus your talents on helping improve outcomes for others.
