The Work You'll Do:
The Business Systems Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the efficient working of the finance team through software, workflows, dashboarding and reports. You will oversees the customer invoicing system (currently Zuora) and integrates invoice data into accounting software (currently NetSuite) and stays current with changes and upcoming features of these applications. You will work with the Finance team to understand their requirements and future states, and then own the overall architecture and will make recommendations on which systems to integrate and how to integrate them.
What You'll Do:  

  • Assessing available software to meet the needs of the company for billing and finance applications
  • Configuring third-party software to integrate with other internal and third-party systems
  • Setting up, adjusting, and overseeing rate plans, add-ons, and entitlements in billing systems to keep up with current and upcoming feature releases and pricing frameworks
  • Creating and maintaining reports and dashboards to help the business track and forecast sales within a period
  • Participating in New Product Introduction (NPI) working sessions to ensure customer pricing models are sound and feasible with existing or planned invoicing applications
  • Assisting the finance team with month/quarter/year end with an eye towards automating manual processes
  • Helping to troubleshoot and correct errors and irregularities which may arise due to customers and internal users interacting with finance applications
  •  SME on Finance systems integrations with the Quick Base product
  • Act as a liaison and between product teams and business stakeholders

This role is not responsible for:  

  • Network and security implementation for G&A systems

What We'd Like To See From You:

  • Experience with Quote-to-Cash systems (Zuora, NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Avalera preferred)
  • Knowledge of SaaS subscription models and general accounting principles
  • In-depth knowledge of software development principles, and working knowledge of web and programming technologies, such as C++, Java, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS
  • Demonstrated understanding of APIs, authentication and data transfer with XML and/or JSON
