Superpedestrian is seeking an Electronics Technician to support the design, development, integration, and testing of embedded electronics. The work will include PCBA rework, harness building, troubleshooting, and electromechanical assembly.

What you’ll do:

• PCBA rework and assembly tasks including soldering surface mount PCBA components
• Build cables and wire harnesses from sketches and document the design
• Use electronic lab equipment (e.g. DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies) to test and troubleshoot electrical modules
• Rework surface mount PCBAs
• Build and assemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies

• An associates or technical degree is preferred
• Willingness to learn new skills on the job
• Exceptional troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Skill with Word and Excel
• Experience using electronic assembly tools such as soldering irons and crimp tools
• Experience with PCBA SMT rework is a plus
• Exposure to CAD tools for documenting cable harness designs
• Experience with hands-on projects and fluency with workshop tools
• Ability to use machine shop tools such as mill, lathe, etc. is a plus
• Ability to rapidly change roles and responsibilities while working in a fast-paced, challenging work environment
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
