The Data Platform team is building a highly scalable and cost effective platform to satisfy business requirements for analytics, business intelligence, and product teams throughout the Endurance and our best in class brands (Constant Contact, BlueHost, SiteBuilder.com, Domain.com, etc.). The platform is being built in the cloud (AWS) and based on a data lake design. This position is ideal for a DevOps Engineer with experience in both software engineering and operations roles such as configuration management and deployment code.

Responsibilities:

• DevOps engineer leading the strategy and implementation on building, deploying, and monitoring our Data Platform in AWS
• Evangelize and lead the team in the DevOps practice, ensuring delivery of a highly available and scalable system
• Develop and document automation tools for building, deploying, and monitoring
• Design and develop instrumentation to provide transparency to system state, history, and trends

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent
• A passion for operational excellence
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Broad understanding of software development and operations, and desire to continue to learn new technologies
• Strong technical foundation in AWS with experience with S3, CloudFormation, IAM, RDS, Lambda
• Experience with CI/CD tooling, monitoring tools, and SCM tools
• Ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
