We are looking for a software engineer responsible for designing and building the data infrastructure at Jobcase. You’ll be solving problems associated with all of our core capabilities such as our high-performance job search engine, scalable content recommendation service, machine learning platform, integrated consumer communications system, and others. As a member of our growing team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the development lifecycle and work with other engineers throughout our rigorous, highly-collaborative process.

• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented Java
• Solving interesting problems of scale
• Designing systems to handle the evolving needs of the business
• Reviewing code
• Constantly learning new things

About you and your skills

• Proficiency with enterprise Java
• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• Highly developed written communication skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with relational database technologies such as MySQL
• Familiarity with full-text search technologies such as ElasticSearch
• Familiarity with distributed computing technologies such as Apache Ignite
• Familiarity with single page application frameworks such as AngularJS
• Experience working in a multi-threaded environment
