Responsibilities
- Design high performance timing circuits (e.g. DLL, CDR), clock trees, custom digital gates/flops, and I/O drivers/receivers
- Design analog blocks such as opamp, LDO, and bandgap
- Work with the physical design group to integrate analog IP at the chip level
- Work with photonic design team to meet power/performance specifications
- Define and run top-level verification and modeling of analog and mixed-signal systems
- Define test plan (validation/characterization/debug)
- Prefer experience with high performance ADCs and DACs
Requirements
- Fluency in English Language, both written and verbal
- 5+ years analog and mixed signal design experience
- Experience in advanced FinFET process nodes
- Multiple successful tapeouts
- BSEE minimum, PhD preferred
- Demonstrated track record of ownership of integrated mixed-signal components, including successfully validated silicon
- Experience with debugging mixed-signal blocks
- Excellent understanding of jitter, layout parasitics, mismatch, and design tradeoffs
