10Beauty, located in Burlington, MA, is building THE Intelligent Beauty company. We have officially launched our very first product; a robotically automated 5-step manicure machine! Our diverse 45-person and growing team is built around individuals with a consistently demonstrated track record of introducing successful new-to-the-world products across reputable organizations.

Come join the company who will put 'beauty robotics' on the map!

Introduction:

10Beauty is seeking our founding Product Manager -  the first dedicated product leader in the company—to own the end-to-end product lifecycle. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role requiring strategic vision, technical fluency, and a passion for customer experience. You will be the internal voice of the customer and the external voice of the product, directly impacting our market success and growth.

We are looking for someone who is technically strong, a great culture fit and has demonstrated an ability to successfully operate in a fast-paced (at times chaotic) start-up environment. If you feel that you could be a great fit, we would love to speak with you.

What You'll Do:
  • You will come in as the first product role in our 50 person technology org
  • Own the product roadmap, vision, and strategy for all related software, services, and future innovations
  • Work directly with the engineering (embedded, computer vision, mechanical) and operations teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and manage the product backlog to improve our delivery to market
  • Serve as the chief advocate for the user. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews (both retail partners and end-users) to deeply understand needs, pain points, and opportunities for automation
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product success, including machine uptime, usage rates, customer satisfaction (CSAT), and feature adoption
  • Act as the central communication hub, ensuring alignment between engineering, operations, executive leadership, and retail partners
What You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a startup or rapid-growth environment
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager working on a hardware product  (Robotics a huge plus) with advanced software integration. You must be comfortable engaging deeply with embedded and mechanical engineers
  • The ability to move seamlessly between defining a long-term, multi-year product strategy, while also managing the details of a two-week sprint
  • Data driven approach to solutioning
  • Experience with a modern software development methodology (e.g., Agile, Scrum)

At 10Beauty, we consider a wide-range of factors when determining compensation, based on individual qualifications, skills, and experience. Equity and benefits are included for all full-time employees. If you believe you can contribute to our team, we invite you to apply. We appreciate diversity and welcome those who can bring fresh perspectives and skills to our team.

Salary Range
$150,000$180,000 USD

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.  We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Thank you for considering 10Beauty!

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
