TripAdvisor is seeking a passionate Director of Product for our Flights business. The flights industry is undergoing the largest transformation in decades and we are looking for a Director of Product to provide leadership that can help us navigate and excel during this time of opportunity. You will be responsible for managing a team of Product Managers, setting roadmaps and product vision, and ensuring the team is delivering on high expectations. The Director of Product will also be responsible for working collaboratively and creatively with team members at all levels across a broad range of functional areas, including Engineering, Traffic Acquisition, Operations, Business Development and Analytics.

  • Collaborate with senior executives on company strategy and how it translates into a product roadmap
  • Work closely and manage several product managers and designers to significantly evolve TripAdvisor's flight metasearch product, including delivering industry-best UI and UX
  • Continue to evolve and improve our product development process
  • Identify KPIs and set a roadmap to deliver and exceed those targets
  • Develop a deep understanding of user behavior and product metrics, looking for ways to improve key product metrics and our user experience
  • 8+ years of comparable Internet product management experience
  • 2+ years successfully managing and mentoring product managers as direct reports
  • Successful history of driving results and impact (you love discussing your impact more than your "responsibilities")
  • High attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects at a time. Successfully able to meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem solving, analytic, and decision making skills. Able to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and formulate innovative and effective actions plans to resolve issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be great team player that works well in collaborative situations
  • BS/BA required; MBA a plus
