We're looking for a hands-on Dev Ops Engineer to be an integral part of our transition to a Docker-based architecture running on Kubernetes (and all the challenges and excitement that entails!). Our ideal candidate is interested in providing assistance for the entire product cycle, from feature scoping, to implementation and testing, to deployment and monitoring.

You will:

Be responsible for the operational aspects of supporting Paint Nite's cloud-based event sales and reporting infrastructure.Design and implement solutions for deploying, monitoring, and scheduling applications on our AWS-hosted network
Develop and maintain tools that assist developers and QA with builds, analysis and testing
Respond to outages and coordinate service restoration
Perform security audits and remediations
Manage and shape infrastructure usage
Work closely with the Development, QA and Product Teams on providing context and assistance on the Company’s initiatives

You have:

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience3-5 years in software engineering experience
Experience using Docker
Experience with AWS
Familiarity with Linux, Git, Apache, Jira
Experience with network security
A passion for quality

Extra bonus points:

Experience with Kubernetes, Ansible or CoreOSExperience with MySQL
Familiarity working in an Agile environment

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will spend their time in an office environment with a quiet to moderate noise level.
