Owl Labs is hiring a smart and stellar Web Designer/Front End Developer to join Owl Labs’ Marketing Team. As a rapidly growing startup, this person will be joining at a crucial time of the company’s growth and will have a lasting impact on its success.

The Marketing Team is a scrappy and fun group who are constantly inventing new strategies to grow the business. Owl Labs’ approachable and sleek brand is a key asset to the company’s success. Our new designer will be accountable for maintaining and even increasing that brand design standard across the company. This individual will own all web development projects, including design, performance, front-end functionality, mobile friendliness and user experience. 

Responsibilities include:
 

• Owning website design and development to improve the look and feel of the site.

• Creation of all design assets to enhance the brand across the company.

• Building content and editorial layout and design for our content team.

• Influencing design of future product features.

• Influencing consumer design of product packaging and other materials.

• Bonus - the opportunity to own and implement other aspects of marketing design.

The best candidates will have:

• 3-5 years of experience as a front-end developer/designer

• Experience in both web design and web development

• Strong opinions on the best development platforms and tools 

• Stellar eye for design while tapping UX research practices
