Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a hybrid UX/UI Designer with 5+ years of experience for our Experience Design team. As a UX/UI Designer you will collaborate on projects to create a consistent and polished user experience across a variety of Perficient’s clients and projects.  You may also be involved in the creation of graphic assets to be used by Perficient’s marketing and sales teams.

About You

We’re looking for someone with a shared passion for user experience and visual design. Ideally, you’re someone who has experience: 

• Working with a team on interactive projects from start to finish
• Working with a creative director/senior designer through the creative design process and implementing constructive feedback
• Managing your personal workload based on project timeline
• Generating detailed workflows and wireframes
• Creating elegant visual design with thoughtful typography, color, and composition
• Creating animation and/or illustration to enhance a design 
• Prototyping using tools like InVision
• Working closely with developers to build assets and refine user experience

We are looking to hire a versatile designer, rather than a specialist. So it’s okay if you aren’t an expert in all of the areas listed above, but we hope you’ve had experience with some of them and are excited to jump into unfamiliar territory.

About the Job

As a member of the Experience Design team, you will work on a range of projects, from websites and apps, to prototypes and emerging experiences (AR, Voice, etc). You’ll work on a range of deliverables that are key to the design process:

• User & competitor research
• Journey maps
• Wireframes
• Visual design comps
• Design systems
• Content (photography, illustration, etc.)
• Clickable prototypes

You will do this all with a team of people dedicated to designing experiences that elevate customer satisfaction and engagement by focusing on the human experience.
