This is your chance to work with a team that values user experience deeply. At mabl, you’ll have the opportunity to work across research, design, and validation on problems that are central to the company’s mission. Over the next year, we are taking mabl’s design and usability to the next level. This is a challenging project, requiring us to deliver incremental improvements to the core product while continuing to add new features to the product at an unprecedented pace. You will be a key part of this effort, leveraging your strengths and picking up new skills along the way. You’ll work with a smart, senior, and high performing product team that knows how to deliver software. mabl has a supportive environment where you can expand your skills and, when needed, go to outside experts to fill any gaps.
What you’ll do:
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary development team to design and deliver product updates.
Focus your work as needed anywhere idea generation, information architecture, interaction design, prototyping, UI design, and usability testing.
Break down design visions into incremental improvements that can be delivered smoothly with little disruption to the product team and our customers.
Identify and work on projects that help the entire product team achieve better designs and design consistency.
What you’ll bring to the table:
Passion for understanding and solving people’s problems, with your design work being anchored in user research.
Strength in visual and UI design which will help the team create new templates and design patterns as our product matures.
Extensive experience working on complex applications.
Experience collaborating with diverse teams to deliver the best design possible.
A belief that direct user research, user feedback, and usage data are critical to the design process.
Recognition and advocacy for UX activities that require a longer lead-time before code is written.
Experience adding functionality to an evolving SaaS product. You’ve refactored or redesigned aspects of a product and rolled out large changes incrementally.
