Agero+Swoop is looking for a UX Research & Design enthusiast to join our team. Your passion for the voice of the end user will play a key role in positively impacting interactions for those who use our product all day, every day. In this role, you’ll be conducting usability studies, analyzing consumer behavior, and forming data-driven insights to address the needs of these consumers. This is an opportunity to improve mobile app and web experiences for a broad US and international user base. You’ll have a tremendous impact on the product and be able to see your work get to market quickly. We value someone who is passionate, driven, can understand the big picture, but also cares about the details.
Position Outcomes:
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional abilities and a passion for design
- Deep knowledge of current industry design and prototyping tools (Sketch, InVision, Figma, Adobe CS, etc)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, handle a fast-paced start-up environment, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
- An eager and curious mindset, with strong communication skills. Ability to convey how UX decisions can impact business drivers.
- Assist in the execution of quantitative and qualitative research activities to capture user insights and elicit requirements for client engagements and internal initiatives.
- You’ll participate in formative studies as needed to inform the vision for new products or features, making sure we’re always using the latest findings to make decisions.
- Conduct primary and secondary research, delivering “top-line” insights early and deeper, insights-driven reporting on longer timelines.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, interaction design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent experience
- 1-2+ years of experience in UX research
- 3-5 years of experience designing user experiences on multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Mobile web, desktop, etc.)
- Online portfolio or PDF of work samples demonstrating relevant experiences
- Bonus: Experience with data visualization and user analytics using platforms such as Looker, Sigma, FullStory, etc
