As a Senior Designer for Apparel at WHOOP you will create the future of wearable technology. You are a passionate, talented, and consumer-centric apparel designer who will help create and evolve our Apparel product range that supports WHOOP’s membership efforts through innovation, functionality, and compelling narratives.

This role reports to the Vice President, Apparel and Accessories.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the Apparel Creative development for multiple concepts or categories across multiple consumer touch points
• Collaborate with wider Design team to ensure holistic storytelling
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure consumer- and brand focus
• Lead the execution of creative strategies to ensure end to end creative excellence, from concept through delivery
• Present and communicate creative solutions with clarity, effectively communicating ideas to a variety of stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years of design experience in Sporting Goods/Fashion Industry
• Proven experience with leading the entire design process (project scope and time planning, design steps, production/execution of design solution, pre-press processes)
• Strong visual and verbal skills with the ability to create impactful/exciting visuals
• Experience utilizing design platforms such as Illustrator, Photoshop, 3D Rendering Programs, InDesign, CAD Programs
• Strong knowledge of fabric, trims, and constructions. Knowledge of Packaging a plus
• Collaborative by nature, able to elevate the work of their peers and allow their own work to be elevated by others
• A high degree of technical knowledge balanced with creative ability and a hands-on approach.
• Experience working with and partnering with factories overseas
• Highly organized and eager to work in a fast-paced, boundless business

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
