We’re looking for a full-time Junior Designer to join our in-house design team at Catalant’s Boston headquarters. This individual will work closely with our Art Director and cross-functional teams to translate sales and marketing strategies into engaging, effective, and beautiful deliverables.
The ideal candidate is eager to sharpen their design skills on a wide range of innovative and ambitious projects, helping to drive the creative direction of our brand, optimize the look of our collateral, and accelerate our marketing campaigns. A rock-solid understanding of typography, grid layouts, digital imagery, print specifications, and all things web design is a must.
Communication skills are vital to a designer in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, so you must be able to articulate your ideas with confidence and contribute your skills and expertise throughout the process. Be ready to offer input at creative briefings, share and elaborate on your ideas, and produce attractive and effective designs across all media. You’ll be expected to communicate with senior team members frequently and should be mindful and considerate of constructive feedback.

What you'll do
- Digital: landing pages, email templates and graphics, powerpoint slides and templates, logos and branding, ebooks, social graphics, banner ads, infographics, illustrations
- Print: posters, signage, white papers, one-pagers, booklets, brochures, business cards
- Other: webinar/livecast recordings, website updates, content for wordpress, swag design, office decor, video recording/editing, animation
- Collaborating on creative vision and testing for various campaigns such as brand awareness, account-based marketing, etc.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic/Visual Design or related field
- 1-3 years' professional experience
- An online portfolio that showcases excellence in visual design and creative thinking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence to present and explain ideas to colleagues
- The ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team
- Motivation to maintain and elevate our design standards
- The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
- Solid understanding of the following tools: Illustrator and/or Sketch, InDesign, Photoshop, Powerpoint and/or Google Slides, Word and/or Google Docs, WordPress
- Bonus points if experience working with: After Effects, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, Marketo or similar ABM platform, Premiere Pro
