Quick Base University is the primary source for product training for our clients. Our training includes live classroom training, online instructor training, and a library of eLearning courses. We are continually designing new content and maintaining existing content to align with our curriculum and the expansion of the Quick Base product. 
Position Overview:
The Quick Base University training team is hiring an Instructional Designer to design and develop instructional materials and assessments to support our eLearning, classroom, and certification program. These materials support and enable customer success. You will work cross-functionally with key subject matter experts to write, design, and develop entry- and advanced-level courses that focus on learner experience. 
Qualifications: 
You are the ideal candidate if you: 

  • Apply current research and theory to needs analysis, instructional design, course development, and evaluation 
  • Demonstrate solid skills in designing and developing engaging eLearning, classroom learning, and assessments 
  • Have experience with SaaS platform and/or relational databases
  • Like to solve puzzles and make and build things 
  • Are a process-oriented and logical thinker
  • Support processes to improve team efficiency and productivity 
  • Exhibit problem-solving skills 

Requirements

  • Proven track record applying instructional design concepts and principles to enhance learning experience 
  • Software training experience
  • Strong writing skills
  • Graphic design skills
  • Course development experience leveraging multimedia including animation, audio, and video 
  • Technical acumen and ability to understand and communicate complex concepts quickly and accurately
  • Ability to quickly learn Quick Base technology
  • High attention to detail and quality 
  • Comfortable working in a high-growth environment with the ability to prioritize, schedule, and meet deadlines 
  • Experience with training authoring and development tools including Adobe Captivate, TechSmith Camtasia 

Education and experience:

  • Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, or Master’s Degree in Instructional Design or equivalent experience 
  • 1 or more years of instructional writing, design, and development experience
