We are looking for a Director, Product UX & Design whose is passionate about building a user-centered design culture to expanded and strengthen our UX team. This role will oversee the user experience of Bonterra's Corporate Social Responsibility products and the product designers that shape it.
What You'll Do

  • Manage and lead a growing team of Product (UX) Designers; guiding them in their craft and coaching them through career growth
  • Help with hiring and establishing a user-centered design culture across the company
  • Build strong partnerships with product management and engineering peers to drive strong solutions
  • Uphold user-centered design principles and evangelize its value to stakeholders, cross-department teams, and subject matter experts
  • Use innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to proactively solve a broad range of user experience problems
  • Facilitate collaborative working sessions & workshops for various purposes
  • Create necessary UX artifacts to foster mutual understanding of current state and future solutions*
  • Present research findings, concepts, and/or UX solutions to stakeholders and department leadership


*This role may initially entail supporting roadmap initiatives as an individual contributor, but is expected to evolve into a dedicated leadership position as the team grows and more management responsibilities arise in the upcoming months.
Who You Are

  • 10+ years of experience as a User Experience practitioner with demonstrated skills in UX research, Information Architecture, & Interaction Design.
  • 3 + years of people management with proven results coaching and growing other UX folks.
  • Experience using customer data (qualitative or quantitative) to inform design and product decisions
  • Excellent collaborator - adapting to feedback from both users and internal stakeholders, building stronger products as a result
  • Solid problem solver with demonstrated ability to articulate the problem, the solution, and approach - bringing others along through the process.

  • You have crafted experiences making complex data models and workflows simple for the end user
  • You understand how to leverage design systems to determine final user interface specifications
