Responsibilities

Are you a Web-savvy Digital Graphic Designer? If so, we want to hear from you. Based in our Lexington, MA office you will be responsible for the effective delivery of digital marketing content for Mimecast North America, reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing. The role will support the VP of Demand Generation, VP of Corporate Communications and/or the management team who have overall responsibility for the digital marketing strategy and content.

 

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and comfortable leveraging content management systems to build, create and edit content, as well as exhibit best practices around Web design and digital campaigns driving lead generation. Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams to create compelling and dynamic graphic design for print, web, email, social, presentation, and experiential.

Duties:

  • Partner with creative peers, marketing and commercial stakeholders in the development and execution of campaigns of varying forms across both on-and off-line media
  • Implement content and promotion updates in the content management system (CMS) and work with management to implement best practices
  • Build digital marketing landing pages, collateral and eShots, including page layout and creative input to support multiple business units and campaign needs
  • Create graphics, banners and other Web images to be a part of integrated marketing campaigns
  • Work as part of the global creative hub and marketing team to identify and improve website pages that do not meet performance expectations
  • Self-manage a varying degree of digital projects including, but not limited to, product launch activities, events, promotional pages and regional support materials
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, as well as respond quickly to analytical feedback, in order to help adjust the creative strategy

Qualifications

  • A degree level education is required, preferably within digital design, web design or graphic design
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role within a Web development firm, IT consulting firm or agency environment; or equivalent transferable client-side experience
  • A solid understanding of Email Marketing Software, preferably Marketo
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas with peers, deliver persuasive creative content, and gather consensus 
  • Knows and champions Web best practices
  • Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, front-end familiarity is required
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Able to effectively manage multiple projects as an individual and as part of a wider team
  • Able to identify additional web marketing opportunities and make suggestions when appropriate
  • Able to professionally and effectively manage own time
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) an advantage
  • Excellent creative aesthetic, able to encourage and support strong usability in way of creative delivery. Maintain a good understanding of commercial and design awareness
  • A keen eye for functional design with a strong understanding of the online platform, mobile and tablet devices
  • A strong interest in and understanding of marketing: including brand representation, identifying and communicating appropriately with target audiences
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, deliver compelling creative and all without compromising on quality

You are a motivated professional who works under proactive ethics with a focus on being deadline-driven. You will manage the urgency of being able to juggle multiple projects while executing to scope and on budget.
