Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for an experienced Content Designer to join our Product Design Team based in Boston, MA. You’ll share Chewy’s story with pet lovers everywhere through a user-centric approach to content, blending the brand voice with clear and consistent messaging across web and apps. Together with Design, Product, and Engineering, you’ll create difference-making features from start to finish that help users find everything they need for their pets (and have fun doing it)!

What You’ll Do:

• Create a house style guide and evolve Chewy’s voice and tone as it applies to UX writing
• Define experiences across major touch points, including customer acquisition, on boarding, and retention
• Advocate for clear, UX-minded messaging grounded in design thinking, user problems, and data
• Provide content from early planning, testing, and prototyping to QA, release and future iterations
• Be the expert on best practices for content across web platforms and native apps (iOS and Android)
• Collaborate with fellow designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers on a daily basis
• Pivot quickly between projects of different styles and scopes, maintaining quality while working fast

What You’ll Need:

• 3+ years of experience working with product design teams on web and apps
• A portfolio demonstrating a balance of branded work with UX-oriented copy
• An interest in user testing and research that drives user-facing content
• Detail-oriented writing skills (you’ll act as your own editor and proofer)
• Experience with eCommerce and accessibility preferred
• Experience working in an agile environment a plus
• Position may require travel
