**Open to Remote Candidate**

The Workday Principal Analyst role will report to the Director of HRIS and will be part of a group that supports many of the HR and People Operations functions. This role is responsible for working with end users to gather business requirements, troubleshoot system issues, implement solutions and enhancements, and manage the maintenance and development of integrations. This is a hands-on role where you will lead by consulting with the business to gather requirements, troubleshoot systems issues, and perform ongoing configuration/development of the systems.
 
This resource will lead and deliver discrete projects within the systems group, which will sometimes involve managing resources from other groups within TripAdvisor and/or outside consultants. 
 
The ideal candidate will have considerable experience in HR systems, especially Workday.
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Accountable for maintenance and enhancement of inbound and outbound integrations to HR systems & tools
• Project management, design and delivery for assigned projects 
• Leverages mastery-level knowledge of Workday, and other systems as assigned, to lead in the configuration/development and deployment of new modules / functionality
• Lead initiatives that integrate Workday with other systems and help define technical requirements with the HR users and vendors
• Owns functional configuration and manages roadmap for assigned areas
• Support and, or leads system upgrades/updates, including regression testing 
• Evaluate, communicate and coordinate the technical impacts of Workday configuration decisions
• Educate users on the use and features of Workday
• Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to management
• Assist and provide tier 2 support on HR production issues
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 12+ Years business experience, preferably in the HR domain 
• 5+ Years Workday experience, preferably as a Workday consultant certified in one or more of the following areas
  • Workday Studio/Advanced Integrations
  • Workday Core and Advanced Compensation 
  • Workday Core HR (Masterly-Level)
• Superior analytical skills including problem solving, attention to detail and clear communication of complex results
• Excellent business analysis skills: timeline planning, requirements definition, documentation, test planning, and deployment approaches

• Outstanding Excel skills and knowledge of MS Project or other Cloud based Project management tools (JIRA)

• Leads in the delivery of HRIS strategies and goals that align with company objectives

Preferred Skills/Ability:

• A. / B.S. with Masters preferred
• Experience with Business Intelligence software including Tableau or DOMO a plus
• Experience with portal and website design/Architecture, including Joomla!
• Experience with change management methods and programs a plus
• Knowledge of or experience with Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of or experience with Design Thinking methodology and/or journey mapping
