Technology Business Analyst
This role is responsible for collaborating with all levels of business and information technology teams as needed to deliver artifacts throughout the delivery lifecycle including defining scope, business requirements gathering, analysis, design, testing, implementation, business adoption, and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
Work within both agile and waterfall methodologies
Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements, specified in an appropriate level of detail and in appropriate forms suitable for use by the business and technology teams
Elicit requirements using interviews, business process work flow and analysis, group workshops, storyboards, use cases or user stories scenarios
Leads and facilitates the collaboration between business and technology solutions to ensure alignment across people, process, and technology.
Effective communication with ability to translate complex business and technical solutions appropriately to audiences is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of Financial Services Annuity industry experience
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
An understanding of contemporary requirements elicitation, analysis, specification, validation, and management practices and the ability to apply them in practice.
Knowledge of existing tools for requirements development and requirements management
Technical aptitude
Preferred Qualifications:
7 years of Financial Services Annuity industry experience
Prior annuity operations experience
Masters degree
