Tripadvisor recently launched Tripadvisor Plus, a subscription product that provides deals on unlimited bookings at 100,000+ hotels worldwide; room upgrades and perks at select properties; savings on tickets, tours, and more.
The Strategy & Operations (S&O) Associate will join this high-visibility team to support several key areas of Tripadvisor Plus, including strategy and business operations. The S&O Associate will also manage important projects (such as the launch of new Plus features), help drive internal team alignment, and report to executive and functional leadership. The team moves very quickly, and job responsibilities will change day-to-day. Ultimately, this individual will be responsible for helping the Plus team achieve its goals for subscriber and revenue growth.
You will report to the General Manager, Tripadvisor Plus.
What You’ll Do:
Lead research (customer interviews, competitive analysis, market analysis)
Develop frameworks, business cases, and financial analysis to drive decision making
Assist in launching and managing new Plus features and benefits
Analyze key performance indicators of the business to evaluate areas for high impact projects that could significantly grow Plus subscribers
Develop executive level presentations
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across a large, cross-functional team, including sales, marketing, product, analytics, research, engineering, HR, etc.

What We’re Looking For:
3-7 years of professional experience in management consulting, M&A, corporate strategy, or business operations
Action-oriented individual who is willing to help solve difficult problems
Team player who can collaborate across the TripAdvisor organization
Curiosity and willingness to learn
Deeply analytical mindset with experience analyzing and synthesizing multiple data sources, developing robust business cases, storytelling and building executive level presentations, and conducting stakeholder interviews
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong “executive presence” and strong cross-team collaboration and relationship building skills
An organized, entrepreneurial self-starter who can identify what needs to get done and make it happen
Experience in travel, technology, direct-to-consumer/subscription businesses, and/or MBA a plus
