Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Senior SQL Developer for our Detroit office.

Job Overview:

As a Senior Technical Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

• Developing complex SQL for use in ETL/ELT applications.  
• Developing KSQL for use in streaming analytics
• Working and Partnering with Data Sceintists to better understand pipeline requirements
• Creating estimates for sprints to accurately reflect the effort required 
• Unit testing SQL Code
• Writing source to target documentation

5 Years of Deep SQL Experience.  This experience can be with any ETL or database that supports ANSI compliant SQL or HIVE/Spark SQL.

3 years experience perfomance tuning of SQL

3 years experience modeling data.   ERWIN or other Data Modeling tool experience strongly preferred.

1 year experience developing KSQL for use in streaming analytics is a plus

Experience working in a fast paced agile environment

Experience writing test plans to Unit testing SQL Code

Proven experience Writing source to target documentation

Linux shell /CLI experience preferred.
