Who you are


You are an analytics translator and champion for our Growth Marketing Team. You embrace collaboration with all facets of Drizly; working across Marketing, Analytics, Data Science, Product Management and our Supplier Teams to identify the most impactful ways for data and analytics to drive decision making for Drizly’s Growth Marketing Team. You have worked with teams to serve as the domain expert for Marketing pertaining to Data, Analytics, Technology and Testing.


You speak SQL fluently and are comfortable with a modern-day analytics stack. You are comfortable interpreting external vendor documentation to extract data core to a business need and have integrated it with external systems. You help drive forward decision making on the team in a data-driven way, even in the absence of complete information. You analyze and drive strategy based on what will make the most incremental impact. You have experience guiding colleagues and building decision making frameworks which elegantly blend analysis, domain expertise, and an intimate familiarity with the nuances of the relevant business model.


You have a strong bottom-line and business group KPI oriented mind and make decisions and recommendations accordingly. Having a historical track record of pushing oneself to exceed goals and consistently helping others to hit theirs through data-driven decision making will be a stand-out quality for an exceptional candidate.


What the role is


This role is open because we have substantial goals for how Drizly engages with its customer base going forward, the average Drizly customer is more valuable than ever, and the value of a 1% improvement to existing Growth Marketing processes is larger than it’s ever been. The Analyst is focused on improving the value for existing Drizly customers. This includes anything and everything from customer acquisition, LTV maximization, incrementally optimization or improved customer personalization.


The individual will be responsible for the intersection of data, strategic decision making, and statistical experimentation for Growth Marketing. They also have experience using cloud-based data warehousing and visualization software, as well as working on a team using Git and code review processes.


This requires a healthy balance of collaboration and authentic idea sharing, domain expertise and technical authority rooted in concise, productive, and effective communication across the Analytics and Marketing team.

In this role you will:

  • Partner with Growth Marketing and broader Analytics team to develop analyses that lead to practical insights that accelerate growth
  • Refine, prioritize and implement Growth Marketing Analytics opportunities in a collaborative manner
  • Work with large and sophisticated SQL databases. Build data flows and dashboards to support expanding reporting and visualization efforts
  • Own the design, implementation, and analysis output of an experimentation framework to facilitate high impact changes across multiple customer outreach methods
  • Know the numbers behind the business inside and out; serve as an authority for all internal partners

For Colorado-based roles: The salary/hourly rate range for this role is $90,400 per year - $106,300 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Drizly's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, commissions, & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
