About the role:
We are looking for a Solutions Consultant to work with our sales and customer service team to drive effective implementations of our predictive analytics AI/ML solutions for underwriting and claims health clients. With a background in Health Insurance / Medical Stop Loss / Employee Benefits, this person will draw on deep domain experience to ensure we ask the right questions, use the best tools, articulate the best value propositions and provide the appropriate context; as well as to ensure the solutions we provide are on-point, value-add, and actionable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the nationwide Health sales team by running sales demo environments. Arm the sales team with client success stories that quantify ROI and by creating KPI analyses and publishing reports to the sales team
- Participate on sales calls, providing demonstrations of our solutions and technical support for explanations of our products
- Field questions that range from technical understanding of ML models to general understanding of implementation tasks and milestones
- Flesh out technical aspects of implementations and assure statement of works (SOW) align with the clients' intentions and our team’s delivery expectations
- Work with our Director of Service to roll out a program that measures client success (and tracks failure)
- Lead proof of concept (POC) engagements which goal of turning POCs into production clients
- Understand commitments made to clients in the pre-sales process to ensure newly implemented solutions are actionable and delivered as expected
You are probably a good fit if..
- You’ve had at least 5 years' experience in a health underwriting, actuarial, or predictive analytics solution sales environment working for a primary health insurer, reinsurance, predictive modeling firm, actuarial, underwriting or corporate finance in the Health Insurance or Medical Stop Loss field
- You’re passionate about bettering the health insurance industry with cutting edge technology
- You worked with a sales team and performed client-facing duties
- You’re excellent in Excel or similar database tool, PowerPoint or another presentation tool, and Tableau or a similar BI tool to create reports and build ROI analyses
A good way to measure your success is..
- If the Health Sales team is surpassing individual and companywide revenue targets ($), continues to ask you for support on calls, and is using your reports and client success stories in their sales process
- If the Client Service team is not asking for clarification on contracts after they are executed and assigned
- If the QBR program is adopted by the Client Service team and leading to new Health product development
