Overview

InterSystems is seeking an experienced full stack developer. This versatile individual will be a part of our Data Toolset development team that works on our IRIS Data Platform. InterSystems IRIS is the fastest way to build and deploy the most demanding applications – it also provides for rapid integration, high performance simultaneous analytical and transaction processing, and open support for AI and machine learning tools.

The Data Toolset team focuses on supporting the InterSystems IRIS Data Platform’s deep stack, which includes middleware, analytics, visualization, development, and deployment tools. This technology stack is one of our company's major differentiators because it enables customers to capture, share, understand, and act upon their data quickly with less code, fewer system resources, and less maintenance. As a result, this team is especially focused on being responsive to our existing customer base.

Responsibilities

-Full stack development experience and a flexibility to learn a wide array of technologies

-Experience and comfort with languages such as Java, C, C#, Python and/or .Net

-Capability to work closely/collaborate with other developers and development teams

-Proven ability to learn quickly and work independently at times

-Knowledge in IDEs or networking/network stack is a bonus

Qualifications

-We are open to a variety of backgrounds, but a STEM degree is preferred

Amir Samary has worked at InterSystems for 20 years — and he’s never been bored. Leveraging Kubernetes, Docker and other tools, his team develops solutions for customers that are visible and easy to use. Samary’s favorite current project, the Data Loader Service, enables non-developers to leverage data so that it can be used in critical financial services reports for customers.
