Senior Director, Intelligent Data Services

About the Team:

The Intelligent Data Services team is transforming Intralinks and as a consequence changing the world of financial deal making. This is a team working in big business with the world’s largest repository of board-level corporate data – over $1.25 trillion of global M&A transactions are run through Intralinks each year. This team is breaking new ground, creating new capabilities for CEOs, CFOs, General Council, Investment Bankers and other executives to interact with content, understand deal activity and develop new tools that will forever change how companies buy, sell and invest.

Overview:

In this role, you are an experienced technology executive and subject matter expert in AI, Analytics and Search who is able to work cross-functionally with executive and technical leadership on SaaS and Product strategy. In addition, you are a hands-on global leader of R&D managers, and when necessary, individual development teams. You set the very highest expectations for your teams and are comfortable leading rapid improvement to create a top-performing Intelligent Data Services R&D organization.

Day to Day:

• Work with R&D managers and development teams globally across offices in Boston, Bucharest and Hyderabad executing Agile sprints to ensure high velocity and high-value releases
• Collaborate with leadership as an R&D executive and SME, working with other R&D leaders, Product Management, technical operations, security and compliance
• Lead architectural direction for the services under your direct management
• Manage hiring, budgets and plans for continuous improvement of the R&D organization, in particular improving the team’s technical skills
• Support innovation efforts to establish product differentiators
• Contribute to build/buy/partner discussions and work jointly with Product Management to make recommendations supported by a business case

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in a related field
• 5+ years of R&D management experience at the Director level or above
• Experience leading R&D in a company with a portfolio of products
• Architect-level technical experience with the following core technologies (or similar): Big Data, ETL, Hadoop/Spark, Hive/Hbase, AWS RedShift, Elastic Search, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Tensorflow, Kubernetes, Containers, CI/CD and DevOps principles

It would be great if you also:

• Have a portfolio of previous projects running in production across Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Search
• Have experience working in SaaS organizations
• Have experience in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Alternative Investments or Financial Services industry
