Salesforce Business Analyst
The Elevator Pitch
Are you passionate about systems and being a part of a fast-growing business? Evolv’s Revenue Applications team is looking for a Business Analyst to partner with the Revenue Organization to enhance its effectiveness, productivity, and business impact. As our organization grows exponentially, we are adding another team member to the Revenue Applications team to handle incoming Salesforce requests through Jira, provide daily user support, and provide valuable assistance on broader initiatives and project work. The ideal candidate is a certified Salesforce Administrator with strong experience working across various Salesforce modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, TableauCRM, CPQ, and Communities. If you have a proven track record building and enhancing organizational processes and enjoy driving and delivering projects across multiple teams and stakeholders, this role is for you!
Success in the Role: What are performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?
In the first 30 days, you will:
- Learn our business, systems, and processes
- Understand who the key players are within the Revenue Organization, including stakeholders for major business processes and workflows in Salesforce
- Utilize Jira to begin taking on incoming support requests and working with senior members to resolve any requests that you cannot resolve on your own
Within 3 months, you will:
- Be able to independently resolve most service tickets
- Have a strong understanding of our sales processes and be able to work independently to deplete our backlogged items
- Assist with onboarding, training, and documentation management
- Start bringing fresh ideas about how we can improve our processes
- Be able to drive actionable analytics through Salesforce reporting and dashboard.
By the end of your first year you will:
- Provide Salesforce system administration and troubleshooting support across all modules
- Be able to actively offer suggestions to enhance systems and automation
- Continue to grow your Salesforce expertise and other system management skills
- Act as a key player in larger initiatives as they come up, such as system implementations and enhancements. Contribute to data quality initiatives to support analytics
- Independently triage and solve 20+ service tickets a week of various complexities.
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing regularly?
- Administration and troubleshooting/support of systems and users
- Streamlining key business processes, systems and workflows
- Actionable analytics reporting and dashboards
- Onboarding and training of new system users
- Deplete backlog items at a consistent pace
- Contribute to team issue resolution KPIs (consistently above 80% resolution and steadily increasing)
- Utilize Salesforce and its modules (Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, TableauCRM, Communities) and other reporting tools to provide business insights
- Solutions and enhancements will be challenging; success in this role will require critical thinking, strong communication, and project management skills.

- You will join the Revenue Applications Team, reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Applications. Our 5-person team sits in the Finance and Revenue Operations department.
