The ezCater Sales Analytics team works with sales leadership to identify key business drivers (and hindrances) for our Sales and Partner Operations teams. Additionally, we quantify their impact on the business, deliver business insights, and make actionable recommendations. This is a highly technical role that utilizes HubSpot, Excel, and basic SQL to provide actionable insight for the sales teams combined with the ability to understand the needs shared by the sales team and project manage the analysis process. 

The sales analytics team is part of the broader sales operations team and acts as the primary analytical resource for the supply and demand sales teams to analyze sales trends, commission reporting, and behaviors. When needing more complex analysis involving prediction algorithms and data science, the sales analytics team works collaboratively with ezCater’s data analytics team. 

While there are some clearly defined metrics needed on a regular basis such as lead volume, pipeline progression, and close rates, more often than not there are less defined metrics needed to analyze a particular area (i.e. what is the optimal response time and activity cadence to convert inbound leads, what can we learn through data about why a particular team is over or under performing, what is the behavior of our best customers).

You Will:

-Work as an integral part of the Sales Analytics team to deliver reporting on key business drivers (and hindrances) for our sales and partner operations teams, quantify their impact on the business, deliver business insights, and make actionable recommendations 

-Integrate cross-functional data & insights from supply and demand sales and success teams, marketing, and menu teams to inform targeted sales strategies, plans, and decisions

-Work collaboratively with the other sales operations team members to apply our full suite of tools available against identified sales business issues

-Create and maintain key metrics and promote consistency and integrity of data across the department

-Lead analytical projects including definition of desired outcome, data and structure needed, process management, and delivery of results to sales leadership and teams

-Identify trends for sales managers to increase productivity

You Have:

-3+ years experience working in a sales, sales operations, or sales analyst role

-Working knowledge of basic SQL (Periscope experience a plus)

-The ability to quickly analyze data using Excel (e.g. pivot tables and formula manipulation)

-Demonstrated experience managing reporting projects (requiring needs analysis, working knowledge of where to find data, how to structure data, working collaboratively with vested parties, creating a deliverable on time, and educating stakeholders on the analytical findings).

-Demonstrated ability to meet internal deadlines

-A passion for uncovering key data points that will drive increased sales productivity

-An eagerness and willingness to give and receive feedback, because we all love learning from each other

Starting Salary Range: $58,000 - $72,000
