The Data Integration Team is responsible for ensuring data from school districts are loaded and maintained with a high level of fidelity into the Ellevation platform. This team plans and executes the solutions to integrate customer data into our SAAS educational platform, and designs solutions to simplify processes, save time and maximize the use of Ellevation by educators around the country. The Manager of the Data Integration team will focus on driving efficiencies, provide support for partner facing interactions, and advocate for the DI team.
As a People Leader of the Data Integration Team, you will:
- Manage a team of Data Integration Specialists
- Facilitate weekly 1:1 meetings
- Discover and facilitate professional development opportunities
- Hire A players and onboard new employees
Support daily DIT operations:
- Facilitate team meetings/standups
- Provide training and support for partner facing interactions
- Provide training and support for all technical work
- Review all task escalations
- Provide guidance on prioritization of work
- Provide troubleshooting support
Guide the direction of the DI team:
- Advocate for DI needs with other teams
- Partner with Director of Product Operations and team to brainstorm and execute innovations to workflows, processes, etc
- Collaboration with BI/Analytics to build out analytics and reporting to drive decisions on improvements
- Track and enhance metrics to measure team progress
- Participate in initiatives with external vendors
About you:
- Experience managing people or projects
- Knowledge of Python and/or SQL
- Understanding complex data and translating issues into non-technical terms
- Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service experience, and an understanding of the importance of meeting customer needs and maintaining strong customer satisfaction
- Knack for problem solving complex data discrepancies
- Demonstrated success and effectiveness working in and promoting a rapidly changing, collaborative, and time-critical work environment
- Commitment to continuous improvement and the mission; desire to focus talents on helping improve outcomes for others
- SIS/K-12 student data/Ed-Fi experience
