Lead Systems Analyst
The Enterprise Robotics Delivery team develops robotic process automation (RPA) of existing, routine, defined, and standardized tasks throughout the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process analysis and improvement for application or RPA design, as well as excellent communication skills.
The Lead System Analyst (SA) will work closely with business teams to document business processes that are feasible for building automations utilizing RPA. Additionally, the SA will participate in the feasibility analysis and solutioning new automation implementations. A successful candidate will be collaborative, highly analytical with good attention to detail, have a passion for process automations, solving problems and possess excellent communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with business process owners to identify automation opportunities by analyzing and documenting processes, assessing feasibility for automation. Analyze and decompose business rules
- Understand end-user requirements, make recommendations for solutions as needed, work with cross-functional teams to capture business requirements (BRD)
- Work with RPA developers and technical leads to ensure requirements captured in BRD are thorough and complete.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions with RPA technical leads to provide inputs for robotic process automation solutions.
- Ensure that new bots meet enterprise non-functional requirements
- Establish and control project scope at a bot level
- Assist in the creation of test scenarios and assessing test results
- Prepare and present analysis, methods and results to non-expert personnel, management teams and technical experts across the enterprise.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for others seeking to utilize RPA to automate and streamline existing manual business processes.
- Develop training documentation and job aids and provide training on new or changed processes to business users.
- Apply process improvement methodologies and tools to improve efficiencies, reduce risk and/or increase standardization.
- Assist with development of financial, estimation, project and resource planning
- Support developers in overall delivery across systems; identify requirement gaps, problems and dependencies between individual teams/groups and systems
- Ability to facilitate requirement gathering sessions, working with process owners/SMEs and technology teams to analyze and assess automation feasibility, as well as document business requirements, processes and workflows
- Support with design of insightful reporting for business process improvements and benefit realization
- Collaborate with Product Owners, business leadership, architects, developers and vendors to ensure alignment for bot delivery
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of related experience in business process analysis within the technology industry
- Experience with both agile and waterfall development and software development life cycle (SDLC) processes
- Ability to understand a business process based on a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution
- Affinity for a high-performance, project-oriented work environment; ability to pivot to critical path tasks as necessary
- Team oriented individual and self-starter who excels at learning new processes and business functions
- Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
- Good written skills with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation

Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 years of related experience in business process analysis within the technology industry
- Experience in Robotic Process Automation and testing automation frameworks
- Knowledge or experience with Mainframe / legacy systems
- Experience, or working knowledge, of Financial Service / Life Insurance concepts and business data
- Experience working with Agile development processes and methodologies including Scrum / Kanban
- Experience in data mining and SQL
- Basic understanding of APIs, Micro-services patterns & concepts
- Experience working in a start-up environment
