The Lead, Enterprise Data Governance implements and operates the company's data governance program, and applies seasoned knowledge to ensure data quality. The Lead, Enterprise Data Governance works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

 

Responsibilities

 

The Lead, Enterprise Data Governance the position is responsible for data oversight, data usage, system analysis and data retention to assure data quality standards. This position collaborates with other departments to ensure data consistency and quality throughout the organization. This position contributes to development of data governance and data standards policies. The position maintains documentation on data governance, compiles reports on metrics and conducts benchmarking to identify trends and patterns. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

               

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8 or more years of technical experience
  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience
  • Experience with data governance
  • Demonstrated ability to run large scale, highly visible programs with responsibility for multiple project teams
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
