Responsibilities

  • Develop Thrasio’s pricing philosophy, strategies, frameworks, and approaches that contemplate a wide and fast growing portfolio of brand and products, various levers to impact net pricing, cross-channel dynamics, and more
  • Define Thrasio’s promotional strategy, playbook, and tactics considering a range of vehicles both on and off Amazon, including coupons, deal of the day, lightning deals, seasonal promotions, and major shopping holidays
  • Develop a roadmap and action plans that builds capabilities and captures value incrementally utilizing agile ‘test and learn’ and ‘fail forward’ approaches
  • Lead analytical projects to assess historical base price and promotional pricing changes and incorporate learnings into go-forward plans
  • Establish tools to assess the impact of pricing changes on key metrics and build a decision making guide to inform next steps
  • Work with Data Science to evolve the pricing approach to incorporate large amounts of data, automate pricing recommendations and decisions, and develop a sophisticated understanding of elasticities and demand curves
  • Work with Product Management, Data Science, and Engineering to create a technology roadmap to build Thrasio’s pricing engine, analytics platform, and testing & learning platform
  • Develop the pricing & promotions organizational structure, prioritize your hiring needs, and recruit top-tier talent to build this function

What you bring to the party

  •  7 - 10 years of experience with pricing and promotions in the B2C space
  • Familiar with the use of advanced analytics and data science approaches for pricing and promotions decisions
  • Experience working with technology teams to build pricing systems, platforms, and tools
  • Proven track record of both using agile methods to deliver quick wins and delivering stepwise changes in performance by developing novel capabilities
  • Experience building a leading high performing teams

Our office is about 15 miles southwest of Boston and is nestled between the commuter rail station, restaurants, town commons, and locally-owned shops.
