Position Overview:

Quick Base is seeking a highly-organized Go to Market Operations and Compensation Analyst to take a leadership role in the development, execution and administration of the sales and customer success teams incentive compensation plans to ensure optimal execution and attainment of company growth objectives.  The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment where managing multiple projects and priorities against strict deadlines is crucial.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Advisor to Sales, Customer Success, HR, and senior leadership on incentive compensation plan, quota, and promotional spiffs
  • Compensation Plan Design - Serving as a business owner in the design, development and implementation of the annual incentive compensation plan. Strategically plan incentive compensation to influence higher performance and drive key business outcomes
  • Managing the monthly/quarterly/annual commission process for the Quick Base Sales & CS teams -- understanding and applying the commission plan consistently, ensuring commission calculations are accurate and comply with the plan, managing exception requests versus policy
  • Xactly Incent administrator – Manage the current implementation and configure additional workflows/functionality
  • Primary point of contact for administrative support to the Sales and CS teams on quota, commission and compensation plan.  Review, analyze and resolve all disputes from management to ensure they are resolved in accordance with policy. Provide recommendations to leadership team regarding exceptions requests and escalations
  • Identify trends in incentive compensation plan, quota, capacity and territory plan execution, suggesting improvements based upon data and analysis
  • Generate standard and ad hoc reporting and analysis on commission payments, commission plan effectiveness, territory performance and quota attainment
  • Establish and document standardized business policy, process and procedure
  • Prepare, communicate and deliver training to the Sales and CS teams when appropriate

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Compensation, Sales Finance and/or Accounting
  • Experience as an Xactly Incent Administrator is a required
  • Experience working with software as a service (SaaS) or other recurring revenue businesses is a plus
  • Highly tuned communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable extracting, formatting, validating and analyzing data sets to ensure accurate sales crediting, including advanced skills in Excel
