Director of Data Quality Management
In this position as the Director of Data Quality Management you will lead an organization responsible for the quality of customer data throughout the entirety of our data pipeline. From initial data receipt through to ongoing maintenance, you and your teams will be responsible for evaluating, identifying issues and managing resolutions for the quality and integrity of the wide breadth of healthcare data that our customers use on our population health platform. You will have the opportunity to build an organization that contains multiple teams and will expand in size and scope over time as our products, customers and technology continue to expand.
What Success Looks Like...
In 3 months
- Evaluated and understood current state of data management within the organization
- Worked with other leaders within the organization to expand upon the data quality vision for the company
- Developed understanding of our customers’ data needs to be successful in value-based care and the Arcadia approach to supporting our customers in this model
In 6 months
- Beginning to enact vision for management and monitoring of customer data quality
- Put in place SOPs and SLAs for how the Foundational Data Management organization manages data, interacts internally and externally and responds to customer focused issues
- Imprints a culture within the organization that is reflective of your values as a leader
In 12 months
- Established best in class organization focused on the success of our customers that includes strong internal processes and KPIs that measure team successes and failures with ability to adjust quickly to market and customer needs
- Worked with leadership team to establish multiple teams within your organization with proper focus, goals, mission, management structure and vision for continuing to drive improvement on internal processes and external performance
-Transferred your deep healthcare data knowledge to others within the organization so that you are surrounded by a crew of healthcare SMEs
Role & Responsibilities
- Grow and manage a multi-tiered organization of who are responsible for having a deep understanding of our customers’ data and helping them use it to be successful on the Arcadia product suite
- Teach, mentor and build the industry knowledge and technical skill set of the members of your organization to be top talent within the healthcare space
- Work with an internal cross functional team to organize, prioritize and manage the implementation of hundreds of data feeds annually across our national client base
- Serve as the escalation point for internal and external escalation for data quality issues
- Partner with our product management and engineers to continue to build on our existing tools and processes to provide additional efficiencies for internal process and higher level of service to our customers
- Serve as a thought leader within the organization and in the industry for healthcare data
- Support the sales and account management teams in data focused discussions and strategy sessions
What you'll have
- 10+ years experience with healthcare data analysis or ownership with a history of organizational leadership
- Proven capability to identify, incubate, grow and retain top level talent
- Experience in building an organization that is based on a vision and mission
- Experience in driving organizational improvement over time including identifying organization goals, developing and tracking KPIs, and instituting positive organizational changes
- Expertise in value based care data sets (Adjudicated Claims, EMR/Clinical data, SDOH etc)
- Fluency in a number of healthcare data protocols including HL7, EDI X12, claims adjudication process and FHIR
- Proven track record of solving and helping others solve complex data integration challenges
- Significant experience with cross functional internal and external teams with success in solving challenging problems as a part of a team
