Position Overview:

The Quick Base Analytics team serves every part of our team to enable a data driven organization. We’re looking for an exceptional leader to own business intelligence and data analytics. You’ll manage a well-established team that is working with cutting edge technology and business insights practices. This leader will own and shape the strategic vision for a data-driven company culture and the roadmap for business intelligence and analytics in combination with the highest quality of execution and outcomes. This is an opportunity to drive to completion large initiatives, including integration of data sources across the enterprise, incorporation of predictive analytics into business processes, data quality best practices and to enable the business to consume the right data at the time of need via self service.

Responsibilities:

• Work with technologists, analysts and the business to create the strategic vision to make Quick Base a data driven company
• Run mission critical processes that drive the data that supports ongoing operations of the business
• Influence the roadmap of tools, platforms, and capabilities for business analytics
• Continually innovate by executing on a roadmap of data, systems and platforms integrating new data and systems into the analytics ecosystem
• Tightly integrate with the Quick Base product development engineers and architects to help create the next generation data tools in the Quick Base product
• Oversee, inspire, and empower a team of business intelligence and analytics professionals, along with external agencies
• Lead cross-functional company data initiatives that ensure a single source of “truth” of company information
• Align analytics and reporting with company goals and targets to ensure all business stakeholders and teams can view progress as well as deep understanding of drivers of success
• Drive a world-class dashboard and visualization initiative to enable self-service views and windows that support intelligent business decisions
• Develop insights from data, and communicate and share proactively with executives across all functions of the company
• Oversee the company’s business intelligence and analytics systems annual budget and investment priorities

Qualifications:

• 7+ years’ experience leading business intelligence and large-scale enterprise data initiatives in a fast-paced environment and preferably for a B2B SaaS or enterprise software company
• Deep understanding of business drivers across the entire “lead to cash” cycle
• Strong ability to translate business line leader’s requirements into visualization, dashboards, and underlying data requirements to provide the team with clear direction
• High attention to detail and quality
• Comfortable responding quickly and effectively in a fast paced high growth environment
• Understanding and sufficient level of proficiency in SQL, Microsoft PowerBI, data warehouse systems, data services and data quality providers to lead and direct a highly technical team
• Ability to learn and develop proficiency in the Quick Base platform
• Demonstrated experience in exceptional dashboard design, delivering innovative solutions to support data analytics and information delivery
• Passion for following and continually learning leading-edge Business Intelligence best practices and technology solutions
• Detailed-oriented and highly-organized with a process-oriented approach to analysis, design and implementation
• Excellent communicator at a senior executive level as well as at technical levels in the organization.
• Master’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent technical field, and MBA preferred
