Job Description:

What We Do: The Sales Operations team is a crucial part of the Revenue Org. We help our sales teams drive revenue more efficiently through streamlined processes and clear data.

What You Do: The Deal Desk Analyst processes request through a shared inbox and through queues in Salesforce to create and send order forms and contracts for the Sales and Renewals teams.

Day-in-the-Life: As a Deal Desk Analyst, a typical day may include the following…

  • Processing requests via email and Salesforce queues to update the language or formatting on an order form within SLAs.
  • Coordinating with Finance or Legal to approve a non-standard request.
  • Creating and updating quotes in Salesforce CPQ
  • Sending clean copies of contracts for signature via DocuSign

First Year in Role:

  • Month 3: Within 3 months, you will have a working understanding of quoting in Salesforce CPQ and how to apply our approval matrix for non-standard terms.
  • Month 6: Within 6 months, you will be able to handle nearly all requests self-sufficiently.
  • Month 12: Within 12 months, you will be recommending and implementing process improvements for the team.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 2+ years in a sales support, contracting, or deal desk role
  • Experience with Salesforce and SaaS accounting principles, a plus!

Skills:

  • Organization to keep up with multiple open requests while waiting for responses
  • Prioritization when everything feels urgent, such as end of quarter
  • Effective communication across various departments and levels in the organization

Tools:

  • Salesforce, especially CPQ
  • Microsoft Word
  • AdobeAcrobat
  • DocuSign, or similar tool
