Deal Architecture Analyst
We are looking for an experienced individual with creative problem solving skills,
strong business and deal acumen, internal systems experience, project
management skills and entrepreneurial attitude to complex customer opportunities.
The position will report to the Manager, Business Operations and be involved with
building and execution of the deal architecture function by nurturing internal
relationships, a give/get mentality, and partnering very closely with the Sales Org
supporting these deals.
As a Deal Architecture Analyst, you’ll be supporting Rapid7’s efforts to help
customers close the security achievement gap through a value based approach, as
we address these organization’s need for flexibility and out of the box thinking. This
role will shephard our approach to support these deals even earlier in the sales
cycle, and work with the functional stakeholders and approvers to maximize speed,
communication and execution.
In this role you will:
· Collaborate cross-functionally, adding value to the sales organization to
increase impact
· Provide feedback and recommendations on deal structures, pricing and
approaches
· Drive improvement of business processes, leveraging the SFDC platform to
drive growth and scale
· Provide feedback internally to our product practices, commercialization and
pricing teams on market dynamics and potential packaging and
approaches.
· Develop proactive analyses, rooted in SFDC and ZenDesk data, that provide
actionable insights
· Ad-hoc analysis as required to aid management decision making
In return you will bring:
· 3+ years of direct experience in Business Operations or as a Sales Analyst,
preferably at a high-tech or software company
· 2+ years of Salesforce.com experience; Salesforce certification or Lightning
experience
· Experience with DOMO or Tableau a plus
· Having had past pricing analyst experience is a plus
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with strong business
judgment and ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner
· In-depth understanding of sales processes and systems, i.e. sales cycles,
account, territory, opportunity, pipeline management
· Experience working in a high-growth, performance and deadline driven
environment
· Results oriented, attention to detail, ability to prioritize multiple objectives and
projects
· Ability to manage own workload, work efficiently, and meet deadlines
· Successful track record of working at all levels of management and sales
teams
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written and communication skills required
· Strong commitment to working as part of a team
· BA/BS degree in business or related field
