Role: Data Scientist

Overview
You will work as a member of the software engineers, but collaborate heavily with operations and market facing teams to provide the data needed to measure, report, and optimize processes within all facets of the company. You will have to understand how teams operate and what data they need to be more effective. The results of your research will be used to scale the company, derive strategic insights and maintain operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Evaluate our current data analysis toolset and help define the tools for the future of the business.
Derive insights from our data with machine learning techniques using tools like Keras and Tensorflow.
Collaborate with product managers and departmental leaders to create a company-wide prioritized list of reporting and analysis needs.
Guide operational and customer-facing decision making that influences increased efficiency, reduced costs, and helps us better target meaningful growth strategies.
Present visualization of the data to non-tech people aka tabulating and evaluating the data; preparing summaries of data analyzed utilizing charts, graphs and tables to represent data; and compiling statistical data to assist in operational excellence.
Desired skill set and outlook
We'll want you to have:
Strong focus on quality and maintainability of code.
A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to take on challenges even if they fall outside your formal job description.
Machine learning experience.
Working knowledge of SQL, Python or other scripting languages;
At least 2 years of experience doing similar job independently, without supervision.
Working knowledge of statistical learning.
Ability to write code for collecting and transforming data.
Experience in extracting value from the real-world business data.
