What You’ll Do
As a Data Engineer, you have a passion for data. You will help the data tell its story.

Leveraging your experience in building production-level algorithms and predictive analytics systems, you will ably and efficiently analyze and visualize large quantities of data for the purposes of deriving insights. Your experience in working with both structured and unstructured data sets will come in handy as you will develop and manage the data cleaning pipeline.

You will proactively think about improving how things are done.

You will be an independent contributor and work somewhat autonomously, and you should expect that you will often work under tight deadlines and changing priorities.

We are recruiting mid-senior roles, and responsibilities will be calibrated accordingly.

You will strive for operational excellence in both your execution and optimization of current processes.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience using statistical computer languages (Python/Pandas, SQL) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
  • 4+ years of experience designing and developing datawarehouse star schemas and data marts
  • Experience developing and managing production ETL processes (Airflow)
  • Ability to efficiently analyze and visualize large quantities of data (matplotlib, ggplot, etc.)
  • Experience designing and developing high-throughput, low-latency data processing pipelines
  • Experience working with Redshift or similar data warehouse
  • Experience solving complex business problems using Machine Learning techniques like Regression, Classification, Supervised or Unsupervised Recommenders, etc.
  • Experience in working with distributed streaming frameworks such as Spark and Kafka
  • Experience with version control concepts and best practices, including experience with Git
