Fast-growing, high-volume recruiting firm with technology DNA seeks exceptional Data and Sourcing Analyst to accelerate growth.

 

Percy was founded three years ago to help humanize hiring. We work with candidates to place them into customer service and sales roles with top companies while helping those firms meet tough hiring challenges for their most important customer-facing roles. We have built robust and scalable processes, but as with most high-growth startups, things are still ‘messy’ and there is way more opportunity to create value than there are people to do the work. We are on pace to grow over 300% this year and the data and sourcing analyst is a critical hire that will enable us to continue driving industry-leading efficiency and results. Hiring is full of very hard problems and doing it well at scale is nearly impossible – if that type of challenge excites you, this role could be a good fit.

 

As a small (but mighty) team, each person is critical, so we are looking for someone who values autonomy, accomplishes tasks at a high velocity, and works and communicates well in a collaborative and data-driven environment. 

 

The specific responsibilities will change over time as the company continues to evolve, but some of our immediate needs include:

 

1. Developing internal reports to better track our performance at each stage of the recruiting funnel

Upgrade: Not just developing the reports, but performing analysis to turn data into insights and working with the company’s management to operationalize the key findings.

2. Administering our job ad placements across all platforms for all clients. This involves developing and posting ads across a variety of platforms and evaluating the results based on our return on investment (ROI).

Upgrade: Perform using crisp execution and creativity to consistently create A/B tests on headlines and job descriptions and then optimize each posting in every geography. You’ll run experiments to determine the optimal number of postings, timing, and other factors you develop to become a guru at understanding what drives candidate engagement for the lowest cost.

3. Working with management to develop dashboards and other technology tools (that we’ll build in-house, outsource, or look to add via 3rd-party solutions) that expand on our platform’s current capabilities to filter, sort, and respond to candidates.

Upgrade: Help us create the AI/ML recruiting platform of the future. This will require vision, a deep understanding of recruiting, technology, and human psychology (and probably some math and at least a basic understanding of programming). You’ll take our current capabilities and expand and amplify them to allow us to seamlessly and flawlessly interact with candidates, clients, and our own internal constituents to scale quality recruiting efforts instantaneously to thousands of open positions.
