The Role
We are looking for a Data Superstar who possesses a passion for data, metrics, and uncovering actionable insights. As a Product Data Analyst, you'll partner with our Product, Engineering, Marketing, Design teams and other Data Analysts to help AURA build a magical consumer product solution that brings together privacy, security, and identity protection capabilities. You will be focused on behavior and feature engagement analytics to help product owners and stakeholders improve the customer experience. Our ideal candidate loves digging into the metrics and details, and is proficient in bringing to life insights through clear storytelling.
Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain product health metrics and dashboards
  • Investigate data issues and escalate them to the relevant group when needed
  • Provide tracking requirements for mobile, desktop and web applications
  • Develop compelling dashboards to measure the impact of new product features or business initiatives
  • Perform an ad-hoc analysis while working closely with Product Owners helping them to understand the data and make decisions
  • Interact with multiple teams to better understand structure, meaning and source of data
  • Provide quarterly analysis on key product features usage and trends, to identify insights and areas of improvement for product


Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree, 5+ years of experience as a data analyst
  • Proficient with SQL, comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources
  • Ability to write SQL for both ad-hoc analyses and scheduled ETL
  • Experienced with Tableau visualization and storytelling
  • A team player and self-starter with great interpersonal skills and a solution-oriented attitude
  • Great at distilling data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Manipulate, transform, and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data
  • Experience and passion for developing the right metrics and dashboards/visualizations
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders from across the business


Nice to Have

  • Previous experience with product analytics
  • Cross-platform applications analytics
  • Working in globally distributed teams
