Customer Operations Performance Analyst
We are searching for an experienced data analyst to understand and improve the performance of our robotics & AI based warehouse automation system to help deliver ongoing performance enhancements for customers and drive continuous improvement to our products & services. This person will bring data analysis knowledge and hands on experience to develop querying, scripting, and data visualization tools for our team. Candidates should be comfortable using visualizations to extract useful observations from large data sets, and communicating insights/recommendations simply and clearly. We need a fast learner and self-starter that can help drive data-driven decision making throughout the organization.
This role will work closely with the Product, Engineering, Operations and Customer Success teams, and will report to the Senior Product Manager of Data/Performance.
Key Activities
- Run simulations of prospective, current and future systems to identify and prove out performance improvement opportunities
- Model prospective customer deployments to support Sales process and quantify pick level improvement targets
- Develop dashboards that provide visibility into the operations of current systems
- Build tools for analyzing system data to provide to other less technical teams
- Provide recommendations to operations teams for how to improve the performance of the 6RS system
- Executing on-site experiments to determine ideal configurations or operational changes in order to drive improvement at customer sites
- Develop data pipeline and determine thresholds for performance based alerting
- Root cause performance related escalations with the technical support team
Position Requirements:
- An undergraduate degree in statistics, mathematics or engineering; advanced degree in statistics/mathematics/engineering or MBA is desirable
- 2+ years analytics experience
- Experience working in a Fulfillment, Manufacturing, Logistics, or other operational environment; work in consulting and/or enterprise software is desirable
- Demonstrated ability of working in a dynamic environment with fluid priorities
- A self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and lots of intellectual curiosity
- Good communication skills, who can answer technical questions in a friendly and encouraging manner
- Familiarity with SQL and programming, scripting, data analysis, and visualization tools and languages preferred
