Bullhorn is looking for a Corporate Development Associate to join our team.
Why this job is important:
Due to significant growth and opportunity, Bullhorn is looking for a Corporate Development Manager to establish connections within our ecosystem that further Bullhorn's Corporate Development efforts. This will include a variety of activities that influence Bullhorn’s ability to deliver enterprise value via M&A. This could include but is not limited to: market mapping, outreach and engagement to technology providers globally, providing guidance and updates on category trends as well as making recommendations on relevant acquisition targets based on this market analysis. As part of the Corporate Development team, you may also be involved in acquisitions to assist in efforts related to due diligence, integration planning and consolidation internally.
A typical day might include:
- Establishing productive, professional relationships with executives at technology providers within the staffing and recruitment technology ecosystem, consistently identifying new contacts via ongoing market research and leveraging existing relationships for proper introductions.
- Developing and executing outreach, nurture and engagement strategies to deliver value with targets over a long term period of time Partnering with internal team members across Corporate Development, Sales, Product, Alliances, etc. to align on trends within the Bullhorn ecosystem (both within our established marketplace partners and beyond) that could deliver additional value to Bullhorn’s customer set.
- Building and exhibiting credibility and expertise within the ecosystem that will help outreach efforts, resulting from a depth and breadth of conversations you’re having and research you’re consistently having regarding industry trends
- Coordinating the involvement of internal and external stakeholders as required to move forward with any relevant conversations related investment opportunities
- Assisting in transaction related activities as required, including due diligence conversations and data gathering, integration planning and strategy and internal alignment as part of ongoing consolidation and post-acquisition management
- Serving as a Bullhorn brand ambassador to represent the values and culture of the Bullhorn organization, serving as an example of what can be expected if joining the Bullhorn organization via acquisition
- Exhibiting confidentiality and respecting required prudence in communication related to often sensitive matters
This role may be a fit for you if:
- You have considerable experience (over 5+ years) in developing executive relationships via cold outreach and/or leveraging your network for introductions
- You have deep understanding of the recruitment technology ecosystem
- You have experience in corporate development in an outreach or consulting capacity
- You are naturally very consultative and have an ability to quickly understand business value
- You have strong relationship orientation and can demonstrate success in nurturing relationship
- You have experience understanding and evaluating the Salesforce ecosystem
- You have a high degree of integrity and have demonstrated execute presence
- You are a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to work
- You have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and can confidently present

- Understanding of financial statements and modeling
