CloudHealth Technologies is looking a detail oriented and highly technical competitive analyst to help the business scale rapidly through 2018 and beyond. As a competitive analyst, you will be a critical member of the product marketing team and extended product management team. Your efforts will be vital for helping us build, market, and sell a differentiated cloud service management platform. You will track and analyze the competitive landscape, with deep technical research on existing competitors, as well as identifying new competitors. You will stay up to date with the rapidly evolving landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation. You will also work closely with sales, PM, and engineering to ensure they have the greatest understanding of our competitors and know how to clearly describe our competitive advantages -- both technical and business. This will include creating competitive enablement materials, leading monthly competitive briefings (for both sales and product teams), and responding to ad hoc competitive questions.

If you wake up every day obsessed with identifying and articulating competitive differentiation and are motivated by helping drive competitive edge in a rapidly evolving market, this is a great opportunity for you.

  • Closely collaborate with CloudHealth engineering and product management to help shape the roadmap and investigate emerging markets.
  • Work autonomously.
  • Become the expert on the market, customers and buying behavior.
  • Become a product expert on the CloudHealth platform and AWS certified.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of domain-specific knowledge within cloud computing, IT operations, and SaaS.
  • Experience with competitive analysis and research, at least part-time.
  • BA or BS in a related field.
  • Knowledge and expertise around enterprise IT, data center migration strategies, and IT operations.
  • Strong writing and analysis skills - Ability to collect and analyze market and competitor data to influence and support product marketing strategy.
  • Proven track record of creating high quality customer content and enablement materials.
  • Technical aptitude and intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong team player, results oriented, metrics driven and capable of working in a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to create CloudHealth content and collateral. An ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits and attention to detail is critical.
  • Ability to think strategically and deliver on tactical requirements.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Computer science or engineering background a plus.
