HubSpot’s Business Enablement team is looking for a Business Systems Analyst Manager who will oversee, support and improve the people applications that power our employee lifecycle. While people leadership is job #1, this role will also drive the roadmap for, and delivery of, new capabilities within our people systems. These systems power our recruiting, on-boarding, employee identity, HR, and people analytics functions. The technology portfolio managed by this team is a mix of 3rd party applications such as Greenhouse and Workday as well as a small but growing base of custom software.

The team led by this role is chartered with enabling our people systems to be as intuitive, automated, and resilient as our users expect them to be. We rely on this team and its ability to think big to make that vision a reality for our global base of employees - past, present, and future. While this role manages a technical team and must be able to do that effectively, this is much more a role that requires exceptional collaboration and influence with senior leaders across the company.

In this role, you’ll get to:

1) Be an exemplary people manager to the employees on this team. You will handle the recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, performance management, and growth of the team. You’ll be expected to lead by example and consistently embody leadership principles including but not limited to:

  • Setting direction in line with company and department strategy
  • Setting clear and high expectations
  • Providing clear and specific feedback
  • Coaching employees to perform at a high level
  • Supporting employees as they drive their professional growth

2) Drive cross-functional alignment around the technology projects that will create the biggest impact on our employee lifecycle. We work with business partners all over the company (from Recruiting to Enterprise Infrastructure) and being an effective collaborator and influencer is required in this role so that we and our business partners stay aligned and focused on driving high impact projects together. We aim to create step function improvements, not incremental ones.

3) Own the roadmap and delivery of roadmap capabilities. Roadmaps are fundamental to our approach to project management. You will be accountable for delivering high impact improvements to our employee lifecycle through creative deployment of technology and delivering on those roadmap milestones.

We are looking for people who:

  • Build and grow high performing teams.
  • Collaborate with and influence senior business leaders.
  • Make consequential business decisions about strategy, resource allocation, focus areas, roadmaps, etc.
  • Think big.
  • Hold themselves to impeccably high performance standards - the kind we would like to see multiplied across a team.
  • Successfully deliver complex, long-term projects.

Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. HubSpot is a place where everyone can grow. So however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come into work every day.
