Job Description

The business operations (‘BizOps’) team at Flywire is responsible for identifying, prioritizing and solving the most critical business challenges in a fast-moving environment. The team uses a data driven and structured approach to drive company strategy across major business functions, develop operational plans to enable innovative offerings and lead execution against our recommendations

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiating, managing, and successfully executing new, cross-functional initiatives that increase alignment and create synergies across Flywire

  • Identifying and assessing the viability of new business opportunities, strategic initiatives, and revenue optimization

  • Working across functions to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance

  • Drive alignment on priorities across key business functions (e.g. sales & marketing, product, finance, payment operations) through our strategic planning and OKR cycles

  • Monitor our external environment (e.g., market conditions, competitive pressures, regulatory landscape) and derive implications for the business

Qualifications

FlyMate Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in management consulting at a top-tier firm or business operations at a growth-stage startup

  • A bias for action, as well as a strong sense of practicality and effectiveness

  • Strong data analysis, data modeling, slide writing and presentation skills; SQL experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment with a high degree of autonomy

  • Ability to build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels
