SUMMARY

The Business & Investment Analytics Consultant, under general direction, is responsible for performing complex data research and analysis to support the Defined Contribution Investment Only (DCIO) business operations, presenting findings to manager and team members. ?In this role, you'll serve as the primary business intelligence resource for the DCIO Sales Team by integrating third-party retirement market data with CRM data and existing client data to create analysis and results used to devise sales strategies and business plans. You'll analyzes and manipulates data to solve problems and issues related to the DCIO sales and service teams and communicates with other departments as necessary.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the Defined Contribution Investment Only (DCIO) sales and business administration manager to manage business metric and management dashboards.
  • Analyze, create, and distribute/filter sales and activity data/dashboards/metrics for the Mutual Fund investment only team.
  • Integrate third-party retirement market data with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data and existing client data to create analysis and results used to devise sales strategies and business plans.
  • Responsible for managing dashboards and metrics to monitor sales and distribution effectiveness through measurement reporting and analysis.
  • Periodically audits existing data in CRM (Salesforce); identifies need for additional feedback and lead effort to gather input
  • Develops dashboards to monitor IO wholesaler activity, channel results, sales and asset growth.
  • Work with other data intelligence teams to identify specific data needs for DCIO sales/business team.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years' experience in financial services
  • Expertise in Excel (VLookup's, Pivot Tables, Basic Logic) for data manipulation and presentation
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office programs
  • Solid foundation of database concepts and construction??
  • Analytical minded person with sensitive aptitude toward numbers
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Sensitive to business trends and patterns
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple deliverables under tight deadlines
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and Morningstar Direct a plus
  • Investment product and DCIO channel knowledge desired
